After Rodin and Kafka Locktender recorded a new concept album inspired by the German painter Caspar David Friedrich. Each song is not just inspired by one painting, but will also try to tell a cohesive narrative using the mood, settings, and characters from the works.
Musicwise it’s poppier than the last records, but still so deep with some quite and some heavy songs. This is highly recommended. A European tour with Lentic Waters will happen later this year.
